AHB has suspended dinner meetings until further notice. But we still meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday (except in August, when we get together for an evening picnic). Presently we meet at 9am for Breakfast at Beez! AHB’s no-host breakfast meetings are small and casual—ideal for networking!

Past Meeting Format

Our past dinner meetings followed the following format, which could be revived in the future:

6:00 pm: Doors open, time to network and peruse the Resource Table and Show ‘n’ Sell displays
6:30 pm: Socializing over potluck or AHB-provided dinner
6:50 pm: Introductions (elevator speeches) and AHB business
7:15 pm: Speaker/presentation followed by discussion and Q&A
8:30 pm: Mingling, cleanup (a participatory activity)
9:00 pm: Meeting ends

When AHB was providing dinner, we charged people $10 at the door to cover food costs, and requested RSVPs ahead of time to ensure we had enough for everyone. Coffee, tea and dessert were always included!

Networking

AHB is a place to meet and mingle with other home-based business owners and self-employed entrepreneurs. Many long-term relationships, affiliations, new sources, and business have been derived from AHB’s conducive networking atmosphere.

Show ‘n’ Sell

A trade-show-style tabletop area for AHB members to display and share their goods and/or services.
