AHB is now meeting every Third Thursday at 9am for networking and round-the-table discussions at Beez Holgate Station!

Calling all small business entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, boot-strappers, and side-hustlers — any and all self-employed Portlanders who work from home.

Beginning in April 2025, the Association of Home-based Businesses swapped out our traditional dinner meeting format for an informal gathering over breakfast at a restaurant we have always loved. Prior to the pandemic, we frequently met there for AHB board meetings. If you haven’t been, it’s worth going to Beez just to check out the veritable “Betty Boop museum.” Not to mention tasty omelettes and a great cup coffee.

You need not be a member of AHB to attend, and there is no set agenda; just the chance to network and socialize with other independent business people while enjoying breakfast at Beez. [Please note: This is a no-host breakfast, so please come prepared to cover your own food and beverage costs.]
